January 29, 2024 Update

Happy New Year (a few weeks late)! I hope that your 2024 is off to a great start. It's been an unusual winter weather-wise. This photo was taken on Dec. 28 – the first day we saw blue skies after several days of rain over Christmas.

This update will be brief but next month's message will be full of important information, including dues details, a tentative 2024 calendar of events and the link to our new association website.

You may have noticed that you are receiving this from a new email address. We created portagelakemn@gmail.com to use exclusively for association communication. This way, whenever association leadership changes, the email can stay the same.

The next association social gathering will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22 at Clancy's on Island Lake. I have called ahead and they have our reservation secured.
